Turn a repeated search into a dependable view

Instead of rebuilding the same search each morning, save it with a clear name. SpacebarX keeps the view current as your outline changes, so the results are ready when you need to check in.

Create a saved search

1. Search for the tasks, notes or decisions you need to review

   Search reads notes as well as titles, so a half-remembered phrase is usually enough to start from.

2. Narrow the results with useful filters

   Text, tags and dates combine into one query — the same three things you would otherwise re-type every morning.

3. Save the search with a name that says what it answers

   “Blocked this week” beats “search 3”. The name is what you will scan for when you are in a hurry.

4. Return to it whenever you need the latest view

   It re-evaluates each time you open it, so it reflects the outline as it is now rather than as it was when you saved it.
