Focus Mode keeps you inside the same SpacebarX outline while giving one branch room to breathe. You can write, edit and complete work without losing the structure that connects it to everything else.
Focus on a branch in seconds
Put the cursor on the branch you want to work on
A chapter, a project, a topic or a task list — anything with children can become the thing you are working in.
Zoom into it with ⌘]
That branch becomes the whole view, with its own breadcrumb. Everything else is still there, one level up.
Turn on Focus Mode with ⌘⇧F
The sidebar, toolbar and banners go away, leaving a calmer, distraction-free view of the work itself.
Leave with ⌘[ when you want the bigger picture back
Zoom out one level at a time, or press ⌘⇧F again to bring the interface back exactly as it was.
